New for 2024! Keystone's SolarFlex Discover 440i offers everything RV owners need to venture off the grid. With two solar panels and a 2000W inverter, this system powers both 12V systems and seven compatible 110V outlets. While it’s not designed for endless energy supply, it provides ample power to extend your adventures off-grid, making it a robust and economical solution for moderate energy needs.

What You Can Expect

SolarFlex Discover 440i introduces many of the conveniences of shore power, enabling you to run 110V electronics up to 2000 watts, such as small kitchen appliances, CPAP machines, computers, and entertainment systems. With a 440-watt solar array, this system doubles the energy capture and charge rate of the SolarFlex Protect 220. When paired with appropriate batteries and sunny conditions, SolarFlex Discover 440i makes dry camping a viable option.

Real-time battery monitoring through the Victron SmartShunt allows you to track power draw, remaining charge, and more via the VictronConnect app. This helps you manage your energy use and extend your time away from shore power or a generator.

It features a second roof port and prep for an additional charge controller, plus a soft-start AC prep, allowing for serious off-grid camping in the future. Expand Your SolarFlex Discover 440i System

Your SolarFlex Discover 440i setup can easily be upgraded to suit changing energy needs.

Add Solar Energy Collection

Connect a Zamp portable solar panel to the pre-wired port.

Add Solar Energy Collection + Faster Charging

Install 1-2 additional 220W Future Solutions panels (KRV part #679074).
Add a 30A solar charge controller (KRV part #715047) in the charge controller prep location, along with a PV disconnect (KRV part #687201). When adding a second charge controller, battery wires must also be installed (not warrantable or Keystone-supplied).
Upgrade to 100 Ah heated Dragonfly Energy™ Lithium-ion batteries, available exclusively from Keystone RV dealers.

Add Solar Power to Run A/C

Install a second inverter (Xantrex KRV part #653865 or Magnum KRV part #686127) large enough to run your RV’s air conditioner via the pre-wired AC loop. In many cases, a Micro-Air Soft Start or similar component can enable the air conditioner that comes with your RV. Consult your dealer for recommendations specific to your RV make and model.
