What is the Giggy Box?

The Giggy Box eliminates the typical wiring mess found in most a-frame units by housing all necessary component connections that require power from the battery. Its robust design also protects these connections from the elements, ensuring reliable performance.

Inside the Giggy Box

Upon opening the Giggy Box, you'll find:

  • 7-Way Bargeman Cord Connections: Featuring a distribution block that is color-coded to SAE standards.
  • Optional Battery Disconnect: Easily turn off all 12V power to eliminate parasitic draw and minimize dead batteries.
  • Automotive-Grade Auto Resettable Fuses: Also known as mini breakers, for improved safety and reliability.
  • Inline Fuse Connections: Ensuring that each connection point is protected.

Automotive Diagram

One standout feature is the automotive diagram located on the back of the lid. This diagram identifies every item and connection point, making it easy to understand and service the system.

Serviceability

The Giggy Box is designed for easy maintenance, featuring serviceable items that can be replaced without hassle:

  • 7-Way Bargeman Cord
  • Auto Resettable Fuses
  • Battery Disconnect

This design reduces repair times and service fees, making RV ownership more convenient.

Captive Screws

The cover of the Giggy Box utilizes captive screws, so you won’t have to worry about losing screws while attempting to reattach the cover.

Battery Disconnect Features

With customer feedback in mind, the optional 12V battery disconnect has three settings:

  1. Power On: Used while camping to ensure all 12VDC components function properly.
  2. Power Off: Disconnects all battery loads to prevent parasitic draw.
  3. Remove Cover: For servicing, allowing you to access internal components easily.

Note: If your RV does not come with the battery disconnect, it can be added by contacting your local authorized dealer or service center.
